THEIR OWN ARRANGEMENTS FOR LODGING.
FORMAT
The Lynchless Classic was established in 1987 as an opportunity for friends to enjoy a two-day golf outing at the historic Maplewood Country Club in Bethlehem, NH. The Classic has grown from 12 golfers in 1987 and is now capped at 128 players. Beginning in 2015 registration was limited to 128 golfers PAID IN FULL, "first to pay, first to play." If you're paying via PayPal, your payment is automatically time stamped. If you're paying by cash or check, your payment will be time stamped for the date of receipt.
The format is stroke play, with recognition given to the top three finishers who have the lowest two-day combined gross scores. The first-place finisher is invited to return the following year at no charge.
Additional recognition is awarded for:
- Low Team Score (randomly selected four-man teams, Saturday only)
- Closest To Pin, Saturday and Sunday
- Long drive (Sunday only)
- Horse's Ass
CASH PRIZES
There is a $5.00 entry fee for both Closest to Pin prizes and for Low Team and beginning in 2012, for a winner-take-all cash prize raffle ($20.00 total). These fees are included in the Entry Fee for the tournament (see below). For example, if ninety golfers participate, a $450 cash prize will be awarded for the cash raffle, each Closest to Pin and to the Low Team (prize is divided among team members).
MEALS
The entry fee includes lunch on Saturday and Sunday.
ENTRY FEE
The Lynchless Classic is a not-for-profit event. The entry fee covers the cost of greens fees, carts, prizes, meals and, if elected, two nights' accommodations. The tournament committee pays all expenses by June 1. Any "extra" money is then used to purchase commemorative items. Past examples of these items include hoodie sweatshirts, head covers, pins, hat clip/ball markers, towels and window decals.
For 2024 the entry fee is $240* for golf only.

Maplewood has limited this event to 128 golfers. A spot will be reserved for the first 128 golfers to PAY IN FULL.
HOW TO PAY
